Sanders McNeal Paintings Featured in Huntsville Museum of Art Silent Auction

Two works were recently chosen as part of a silent auction event for the Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville, Alabama. The event, held March 1, 2008, was an important fund raiser for the museum. The two works (at right) titled "Denice and Niece", and "Pumpkins at Sundance" are among the artists recent work.

The Huntsville Museum is North Alabama's leading visual arts center. Named as one of the state's Top 10 destinations by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel, the museum is gaining a reputation throughout the south for bringing high caliber touring exhibitions to the region.

Sanders McNeal Commissioned For Mississippi Symphony Orchestra Commemorative Painting.

McNeal was recently commissioned to create a painting to commemorate the 60 th anniversary of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.

Local artist McNeal to put stamp on IBC

P. Sanders "Sandy" McNeal of Jackson was chosen as the official artist for the 2006 USA International Ballet Competition. The signature poster will be unveiled in October. McNeal also will create a design for commemorative merchandise. McNeal was chosen based on her abilities in figurative and still light work, her use of color and light, a news release said.
The next USA IBC is June 17-July 2, 2006.
